Mascot Steel has been a 100% Australian owned and operated family business since 1978. Our focus is on steel products and fabrication services. Mascot Steel stocks a huge range of steel of all shapes and sizes - sheet & plate, mesh, builders' steel, concrete reinforcing and accessories.

We will cut most steel products to your size while you wait and our value added services include complete fabrication, welding, drilling, prime painting, profile plasma and saw cutting, and press brake folding, bending, rolling and guillotining of sheet and plate.Plus we will deliver Sydney-wide. With 40 years' experience helping our customers work with steel we have the expert knowledge to make working with steel easy.

Mr Mendes has a Diploma in Production Engineering and a Diploma in Electrical Engineering. He also has a Graduate Certificate in Australian Migration Law & Practice from the Australian National University. He has over 30 years experience working with steel in Australia, India, and the United Arab Emirates.

Due to strong growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic salespersons/estimator who is passionate about both customer services and production of quality steel products. This role works within the sales team to conduct sales and production estimates, costings and orders for a wide variety of customers.

Mascot Steel provides industry certified engineering services to the lift and elevator industry. We have a wide variety of products and services available for lifts and elevators. We provide on-site lift services including lift materials such as sheet metal work with mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel.

Mascot Steel supplies a wide range of stainless steel products and supply a variety of different stainless finishes to suit your needs. We supply a variety of different materials including stainless and aluminium. For stainless we provide passivating, an acid treatment, which creates a unique finish (2b mill finish).
