Temporary Skill Shortage visa subclass 482

Although it has the designation of subclass 482 visa the Department of Home Affairs refer to this visa as the Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa. The TSS visa was introduced as a replacement to the long standing subclass 457 Temporary Skilled Work visa program. If you hold a 457 application it will remain in effect until the date of expiry.
Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional subclass 494

It replaces the Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (RSMS) visa subclass 187. The Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional visa allows skilled workers to be sponsored by an Australian employer in a designated regional area for up to five years. To be eligible to apply for the 494 visa, employer sponsors and visa applicants must meet certain eligibility criteria.
