Treg Trailers

Established in 1947, Treg Trailers built a reputation for excellence in trailer production and industrial engineering. Our team operated from a fully equipped workshop in South Australia, utilising local materials to deliver custom solutions for commercial and private clients. We specialised in machining, grinding, rolling and fabrication services, supported by a comprehensive after-sales network. With 75 years of continuous operation under the same ownership, our commitment to quality was reflected in a 12-month warranty on all products. While we ceased trailer production in 2022, our legacy continues through Fleet Tech Direct's manufacture of original Treg Poly Block Couplings. Our workshop housed state-of-the-art machinery including milling machines, surface grinders and 250-tonne brake presses, enabling us to handle projects from small components to large-scale industrial equipment.

We maintained strong relationships with both corporate clients and individual operators requiring specialised tools or custom fabrication. Our engineering expertise extended to sectional rolling, plate forming and precision metalworking, with capabilities covering materials from 1mm sheet metal to 32mm thick plates. The business transitioned to Fleet Tech Direct in 2025, ensuring ongoing availability of key components while preserving our commitment to Australian manufacturing standards.
