Pearsall Child Care Centre

Pearsall Child Care Centre aims to provide the highest quality of care for your child/ren, and therefore the educators strive every day to create and maintain a safe, secure, warm, caring, harmonious and stimulating environment for you and your child/ren. We believe that all children are active learners and their individuality should be encouraged so they can develop with guidance and support to master their thinking and learning.

All of the educators at Pearsall child care centre have a working with children check, medical clearance, first aid certificate, asthma and anaphylaxis certificate and an I'm alert certificate. All educators who work at Pearsall have a minimum qualification of Certificate III in children's services.

In a group care situation, one of the most troublesome problems is to control the spread of infection amongst children and educators. Every step possible is taken to prevent the spread of illness and infection. It is generally accepted that seriously ill children will be excluded from the centre, although policies for the exclusion of mildly ill children are controversial and variable.

Fees are payable as listed in the fee payment procedure policy. Fees are reduced by claiming Child Care Subsidy if applicable. The percentage of assistance that a family may claim depends upon their assessed family income which is determined by the family assistance office. The Family assistance office can be contacted on 13 61 50.

Pearsall Child Care Centre ensures that the attendance of all children enrolled in the service is accurately recorded in accordance with regulatory and government guidelines. All children should be delivered and collected from Pearsall Child Care Centre by the child's parent/ guardian unless prior written or verbal permission is given to educators by the parent or guardian.
