At Health Systems Go we hold a strong core belief that many issues within the body are compensation injuries which have originated elsewhere in our musculoskeletal chain. Creating weakness and overload at the site of your complaint. Kirstin first entered the health industry as a Myotherapist in 2012.

Wanting to learn more about the impact foot function had on the rest of the body, she went on to study Podiatry at LTU and GCU. During her career, Kirstin has worked at the World Cycling Championships, Australian Institute of Sport and AFL Draft Combine. Outside of Podiatry and Myotherapy, Kirstin is trained in Prolotherapy, Perineural Injection Therapy, Dry Needling, GRIP Approach and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation*.

Sports Podiatry
Report
Orthoses (aka orthotics) are one of our Podiatrists last lines of treatment. Instead, we look at the missing links between your pelvic (in) stability, intra abdominal pressure - versus - peak loads at the foot, ankle and knee.

We begin with a thorough analysis of your neurological and motor patterns, muscle timing during your gait cycle, limb length discrepancies (LLD), lumbo pelvic stability, compensatory patterns & location of high peak force within your feet whilst weight bearing. If you have a condition or concern not listed, please contact us on (03) 9084 7455 to see if we can help.
Running | Track Analysis
Report
Thorough indoor and outdoor walking, running and sprinting (if applicable) gait analysis with Kirstin, our running Podiatrist. Recorded video footage of your running technique to highlight why your injury, pain or hot spot(s) continue to hinder your movement and endurance skills. Wear comfortable running gear that can be dressed up or down depending on the days weather.
Children | Teens Feet
Report
Developing a strong and functional foot from a young age is extremely beneficial to your childs long term biomechanics. It sets them up for increased strength and injury prevention in not only the foot, but throughout all joints leading into the back. We recommend Podiatric advice if your child is complaining of ongoing pain and discomfort, or if you have concerns of development issues in these regions.
Injection Therapies
Report
First developed in 1939 by George S. Hackett (Trauma Surgeon) for lower back pain. Prolotherapy assists with the shortening and strengthening of previously damaged ligaments. Paradigm shift; in chronic pain, ligaments are thought to be of a higher importance to bones and discs. The injection consists of a glucose and local anaesthetic solution (varying from 5 to 25% concentrate).
