Our three-tier Pioneer Kitchen Dining Room offers flexible seating for intimate meals, family gatherings, and formal functions. Garden Bar
This open-air laneway-style bar combines live music three nights weekly with a rotating selection of craft beers and gastropub cuisine. The retractable roof allows year-round outdoor enjoyment, while the menu balances classic comfort food with modern trends like soft-shell crab sliders. Regular entertainment bookings ensure a vibrant atmosphere, making it Geelong's premier destination for casual drinks and social gatherings in a uniquely designed space.
Sports Bar
Equipped with more than 20 big-screen TVs, this sports bar guarantees coverage of every major sporting event across AFL, NRL, cricket, and international competitions. Had a lovely meal there last night, food was amazing the staff was super attentive and very friendly . Great wine list.
Checked at the menu in the bar on the way out saw more options on there so will visit the bar next time.

Visited with my 2 daughters, son inlaw and 4 grandchildren. Staff were very good with the kids and very professional with the adults. Playroom was good and the little complimentary entertainment bags for the kids were excellent. The meals seafood pasta, salmon and nasi goreng were excellent. Definitely will be return customers.

Thanks to the Grovedale Hotel for a fantastic evening. We booked a table for 10 on Saturday night and wasn’t disappointed. Our waiter Josh was brilliant, looked after all our requests and was very friendly. The… meals were served fast and cooked to perfection. I especially loved the Lamb rack and pressed shoulder, melted in my mouth, I also had the Salt & Pepper squid which was super tender and tasty. My wife ordered the Arancini balls which is her favourite and they’re the best she’s had so far. The total bill for all 10 of us plus drinks was only $555.40 so overall

Wasn't that impressed with the food but the staff were lovely. Looks like a nice place to eat but expensive for what it was. Be aware you will pay premium for Public Holiday. I don't mind that as long as the food is good. Will try to remember to post photos more often on my reviews

We were a party of ten and absolutely enjoyed our dining experience. Notably the meal which would be equal to or better than some city restaurants and the service was exceptional- we will be back
