I always had an interest in healthcare and hospitality to help and serve people. I am very honoured to work for Better Together, because I have the opportunity to get to know wonderful, kind people with disabilities and they make me laugh and are such heart-warming people. I really enjoy working in the cafe because we work together as a team and it matters really much to me that I work with the best manager I have known.

Our award winning cafe, breezeway and function room are surrounded by lovely gardens in a tranquil bush setting, nestled beside Lagoon Creek. We share our space with teaming wildlife and lovely bush sounds. Lagoon Creek Cafe was founded for a greater purpose on the notion that inclusion, acceptance and contribution are desired by all.

The Caboolture Community Work Co-operative is a social enterprise that was established by local people for local people in response to the need expressed, and self-determined interest of individuals with disability who live in the Caboolture area who had mixed experiences with work and with trying to find work.

A part of what makes us unique is our positive attitude towards food; creating and utilising wholesome, seasonal foods and understanding the healing properties of quality produce.
We choose to use only the highest quality ingredients and locally sourced produce including free-range eggs from The Produce Patch in Woodford, prime meats from butchers in the surrounding areas and Auswana Arabica coffee - owned, grown, processed and roasted near D'Aguilar in the Greater Brisbane region in South East Queensland.
