About
Report
Your initial visit will be a thorough 30-45 minute consultation, with return visits being 30 minutes. We will take a history of your problem and how it's affecting your daily life, then undertake a detailed examination to help diagnose the specific source of the problem. Using this information, we'll come up with a multi-modal treatment plan to address the issue.

Headache and Neckache
Report
Headaches and neckaches are often a by-product of muscle tightness and joint stiffness through areas of the neck and upper back, and can present for a number of reasons. Most commonly, headaches will be caused by issues such as stress, muscle tightness, workstation set-up (for office workers), poor posture, jaw dysfunction, or as a result of injuries such as whiplash; a common issue following motor vehicle accidents.
Osteoarthritis
Report
Osteoarthritis is a degenerative condition that mostly affects the hands, spine and joints such as hips, knees and ankles. It affects about 8% of the population, predominantly women. Physiotherapy is a conservative and effective management tool for this condition.

Physiotherapists can assist in strengthening and stabilising the joint, reducing tightness and tension in the muscles surrounding arthritic joints, and in reducing the associated pain and swelling.Where necessary, we can often recommend and supply appropriate bracing to support the joint. If you suffer from osteoarthritis and are looking for some relief, contact us now on (07) 3325 1858 or book an appointment online.

Queensland Physiotherapy works with a number of leading orthopaedic surgeons in the Brisbane area, and always keep up to date with the latest post-surgical rehabilitation techniques and protocols being used.
