Ideal for residential and commercial properties, this process extends the lifespan of timber floors while enhancing their natural grain and texture.
Heritage Floor Restoration
Specialised restoration for historic timber floors, preserving original craftsmanship and character. We repair gaps, cracks, and wear while maintaining historical integrity. This service is tailored for heritage-listed buildings, museums, and landmarks, combining traditional techniques with modern durability enhancements to revive floors to their former glory.
Emergency Water Damage
Rapid response to water-damaged timber floors, preventing mould and structural issues. Our team uses advanced drying and restoration techniques to salvage floors after floods or leaks. Services include moisture detection, sub-floor ventilation, and structural drying, ensuring safe and lasting repairs for residential and commercial properties.
Commercial Floor Polishing
Durable, high-gloss finishes for commercial spaces like offices, schools, and retail stores. We apply protective coatings to enhance wear resistance and aesthetics. This service improves safety with slip-resistant finishes and ensures easy maintenance, making it ideal for high-traffic areas requiring long-lasting, professional results.
Limewash Finishes
Eco-friendly limewash treatments brighten timber floors with a matte white finish. This technique highlights natural wood grain while providing a contemporary look. We were unsure what to expect when we had our floors sanded but Luis and Jose from Abacus were absolutely first class. I would certainly highly recommend them - they did a wonderful job on our floors and took so much care to do the small things we had forgotten - they moved the fridge and sanded underneath it before sealing and moving back. They explained what we should expect and truly we couldnt be happier with the outcome. Definitely a 5/5 from us.
