Wuest Acupuncture
A Hobart Acupuncturist integrating traditional and scientific methods of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. In the case of pain, identifying and assessing the Jing Luo (channel network), muscles, along with the fascia and channel systems, combined with pulse diagnostics and careful consultation, provides a broader picture based in Traditional Chinese Medicine theory.

Acupuncture is both an ancient practise thousands of years old and a continuously evolving medicine tested through clinical and scientific evaluation.

How does the first Acupuncture visit work
Report
What should you expect when you come for an Acupuncture treatment at Wuest Acupuncture in Hobart? Firstly, an appointment can be made by either calling and chatting about things first, to find out if we can help. Once that's out of the way, or if you have had Acupuncture before and want to book in, you can either call us, text us about a time, or use the online booking page.
What does Acupuncture feel like
Report
Acupuncture needles are ultra fine and as thin as a human hair. All Acupuncture needles used in our Hobart clinic are sterilised single use disposable needles made of the highest quality stainless steel. The unique shape, thinness and manufacturing quality of an Acupuncture needle, means that there isn't typically any damage to the skin.
My Training
Report
A two month Immersion Experience with Acupuncture Relief Project, managing 18 - 25 x patients per day and around 1000 patient visits. Based just a few hours south of Kathmandu in Nepal, the smaller towns of Bhimphedi and Kogate had little to no basic health care apart from a basic "health post". Some patients walked hours with painful knees and bodies to get treatment.
