Our goal is to grow the Salsa dance scene in Parramatta & western Sydney. So, you've never danced before and you're finally taking the plunge into the world of Latin dance! Our beginners courses are designed for the absolute beginner and we're here to help. All you have to do now is decide on style of dance, do you want to learn Salsa or Bachata? Question is, what have you danced before?
Beginners
Report
Having a partner to come to class with would be nice but it's not necessary. We generally have a good balance of leads and follows and we rotate partners during class. For couples, it is not mandatory to rotate but it's highly recommended as it is vital to learning the lead and follow. In addition, it's a lot more fun and it's a great way to meet everyone in class.
Level 2 and Up

Salsa On1 is on Sundays and Thursdays. Salsa On1 is also known as L.A style Salsa and is a dynamic style that is popular in Australia and around the world. To help you decide on which level to join, hit select. Bachata is on Wednesdays and Fridays. We teach a commercial form of Bachata but try to stay true to the roots of the music and dance being The Dominican Republic.

Daniel is the Senior Instructor at Blacktie Ballroom studio. Daniel has been dancing Latin and Ballroom since the age of five. When asked at the age of eight what he wanted to be when he grew up he proudly announced "I'm going to be a professional Ballroom Dancer". After winning several Championship titles Daniel turned professional in 1995 and has since taught both American and International dance styles.
