Barossa Veterinary Service
Kapunda and Barossa Vet Clinics have been an integral part of our local community for years. In that time, we've helped thousands of our clients cats and dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs, birds, horses and even a few snakes. Our customers know by experience that they can rely on us for sound advice and treatment options and that their pet is in the very best hands with our team.

The Greyhound Adoption Program SA is a not for profit initiative of Greyhound Racing SA dedicated to finding homes for retired and non-racing greyhounds and Barossa Veterinary Service proudly sponsor this program providing jackets specially made for greyhounds to keep them warm.
Services
Emergencies
Report
Barossa Vet Service is proud to announce our return to offering an emergency after hours service to the Barossa Valley and surrounds as well as the Mid North. We have a vet on call every night of the week and over weekend and public holidays. We are happy to assist with urgent enquiries and manage emergencies outside of normal business hours.
Health Checks
Report
Because pets age so rapidly, major health changes can occur in a short amount of time. The risk of cancer, diabetes, obesity, arthritis, heart disease and other serious conditions all increase with age. Today's pets are living longer than ever, chances are that many may experience a potentially serious illness during their lifetime.
Pockets Pets
Report
Pocket pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, rats and mice are becoming much more popular as furry family members. They make ideal pets for people in smaller dwellings, or those without a yard. But despite their smaller size, they require just as much care and responsibility as their larger-sized animal friends.
Mobile Health Checks
Report
We are fully mobile and can provide service to your pet from the comfort of your home. All normal health check procedures, including ear and eye examination, routine health examination, blood collection, and arthritis assessments can be performed. In some cases, we may need to organise for your pet to visit the clinic at a later date, but we will have saved them (and you) one more stressful visit to the clinic.
Medical Services
Report
Our hospital is well equipped to care for your sick pet and rest assured they are treated like one of our family. During business hours we can offer round the clock emergency care and our facilities allow for 24 hour hospitalisation, administration of IV fluids and regular patient checks outside of business hours.
