For residential, commercial and industrial applications concrete ground slabs are a quick, cost efficient solution suiting a wide variety of sites. For residential applications slabs can be designed as a raft slab, waffle pod, or infill slabs to AS2870. It is important to design the slab to suit the specific foundation material as conditions vary greatly across different geographical locations from sandy soils to highly reactive clays.
