Humpty Doo Community & Child Care Centre

Humpty Doo Community & Child Care Centre has been dedicated to nurturing and educating children aged 4 months to 5 years since 1985. As a not-for-profit long day care centre, we cater for up to 116 children daily, providing a safe, secure, and welcoming environment where children can play, learn, and grow. Our facility features spacious natural indoor and outdoor areas designed to offer diverse learning experiences tailored to all ages and abilities. We actively value family involvement, encouraging parents to participate in our programs through our Parent Management Committee (PMC), which works in partnership with our Director to ensure quality care, compliance with national regulations, and the Centres sustainability. Our dedicated team prepares nutritious meals daily using locally sourced ingredients, while our educators follow the Early Years Learning Framework to deliver a curriculum that prioritises play-based learning and fosters strong, trusting relationships with children.

We operate extended services including Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care, all managed under the same PMC structure. Our commitment to transparency and community engagement is reflected in our annual general meetings and opportunities for families to contribute their skills and time. With a focus on continuity between home and childcare, we support toilet training, accommodate home routines, and provide regular updates to families. Our goal is to create a nurturing environment where every child feels valued and empowered to reach their full potential.
