A standard consultation is for a 15 minute appointment. Longer appointments are available if you have several issues or a complex concern to discuss with your doctor.

Please let us know when making the appointment. This assists with wait times for all patients. Emergencies will always be given priority. If you require urgent medical care after hours, the practice phones are diverted to National Home Doctor Service who arrange for a doctor to visit you in your home.

Dr Raj is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and is passionate about individual patient care and practicing evidence-based medicine. He enjoys all areas of primary care medicine. Having graduated from Dr MGR Medical University, India in 2000, he moved to United Kingdom in 2001.
Skin Cancer

Like all good dermatologists and skin specialists in Australia, we use dermoscope to evaluate pigmented lesions in order to distinguish malignant skin lesions, such as melanoma and pigmented basal cell carcinoma, from benign melanocytic naevi and seborrhoeic keratoses. We rely on thorough examination with a dermatoscope and years of experience to diagnose our findings.
Iron Infusion
Report
In need of a rapid increase in iron levels to avoid complications or a blood transfusion - eg pregnancy or surgery. IV iron is also indicated in combination with erythropoiesis-stimulating agents in chronic kidney disease and chemotherapy-induced anaemia. Possible side effects (5:100) include headache, dizziness, high blood pressure, flushing, nausea, pain in the drip site and bruising.
