Acacia Motor Lodge Restaurant is an intimate 40 seater restaurant that serves tasty upper market bistro style food, the restaurant is exposed brick with high ceilings and a large skylight. We are fully licenced and allow BYO with a small corkage fee. We frequently have live music on Friday and Saturday nights provided by our local harp player Mary Cragg who is sometimes accompanied by Amy Rossler on Flute.

The Australian Museum Diprotodon Exhibition is housed at the Coonabarabran Visitor Information Centre, on the Newell Highway, at the southern end of town. The exhibition displays the skeleton and skull of a Diprotodon, the largest marsupial ever to have lived. It is often likened to a giant sized wombat.
