Services
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy at Motion Health addresses musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain, and sports-related conditions through evidence-based treatments. Our physiotherapists use manual therapy, dry needling, and exercise prescription to restore mobility and reduce discomfort. Tailored rehabilitation programs target back pain, neck injuries, post-surgical recovery, and sports performance enhancement, ensuring clients regain functional independence and prevent re-injury.
Clinical Pilates
Clinical Pilates combines targeted exercises with equipment-based training to improve core strength, posture, and flexibility. Motion Health's qualified instructors design individualised programs for injury rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and athletic performance. Sessions utilise reformers and resistance tools to enhance muscle activation while prioritising safe, controlled movements for long-term musculoskeletal health.
Exercise Physiology
Exercise Physiology specialises in managing chronic conditions like diabetes, osteoporosis, and cardiovascular disease through tailored exercise programs. Motion Health's Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) create structured interventions for strength training, weight management, and post-rehabilitation recovery. These programs integrate lifestyle modifications to improve overall health outcomes and functional capacity for individuals with complex medical needs.
Sports Injury Treatment
Motion Health's sports injury treatment focuses on rapid recovery and performance optimisation for athletes. Combining physiotherapy, strength conditioning, and biomechanical analysis, our team addresses ligament tears, muscle strains, and joint injuries. Evidence-based protocols ensure safe return-to-play timelines while minimising re-injury risks through sport-specific rehabilitation strategies.
Dry Needling
Dry needling targets muscular pain and dysfunction by inserting fine needles into trigger points to release tension. Motion Health's physiotherapists use this technique to alleviate conditions like headaches, tendonitis, and chronic muscle tightness. The treatment enhances blood flow, reduces inflammation, and restores normal muscle function as part of a comprehensive rehabilitation plan.

I've been attending Pilates at Motion Health for nearly two years. During that time I have grown enormously in strength, physical resilience and aerobic fitness. My outlook on life has markedly improved and I have been able to increase my activity into other areas including walking, body pump and yoga. I'm pleased that I can go up stairs two at a time, lift my suitcases easily when I travel, hold my shoulders back and stand up tall, all without back or hip pain. Working with Emma and Joel has been quite life changing. They are both university qualified exercise physiologists, individually focused
