Driving Zone
At Driving Zone, our mission is to create the best, safest drivers in Melbourne and around Port Philip Bay. Driving Zone was founded in 2003. Our male and female instructors have logged over 200,000 lesson hours for learner drivers, leading to over 7,500 driving tests passed. We create safe drivers for life, not just to pass the driving test.

So when our graduate drivers are out on the road on their own they are less at risk of collisions. With over 200,000 learner driver hours logged and growing, we've used this experience to create one of Melbourne's most comprehensive driver training programs. We help learner drivers log sufficient hours, concentrating on safe driving principles and increasing driver awareness.

Driving instructor Alex Vouvaris, from the Driving Zone driving school in Melbourne, yesterday welcomed the move to introduce compulsory driver training, but said training would be more beneficial before young drivers obtained their P-plates. There's no point making lessons compulsory for a P-plater who is already on the road and who has already developed bad habits.

I couldn't be happier with my experience at. Driving Zone. My instructor Timothy Chan was so incredibly skilled, calm, patient, caring and informative. Our lessons allowed me to learn not only how to drive but to understand how to be a safe and smart driver. He prepared me for my test at Carlton (which is no easy feat) and although it is one of the hardest routes to pass, I passed with a perfect drive first go.
High School Partners
Report
The Emerson School and Driving Zone first partnered up in 2015 and now again in 2016 to provide a Student Driver Ed Program in Terms 2 & 3 for its students. It has been very successful so far, with most students finding it is very beneficial and informative. All the students attending the classes are pre learner permit holders being trained to get their L's.
