I'm writing this on behalf of a friend who is a pensioner & has been coming to the Avoca for years. We quiet often catch up for dinner, usually having the salmon which is nice. One night we tried the steak & they were both very tough, Lucy replaced them with the salmon which was very appreciated. Bev has been sick so she thought she would try the steak again thinking it would good for her. Patrick asked the chef for a nice tender piece of steak for Bev. Big mistake, it was tough again, with a big piece of Grissle and fat. the salad was mixed lettuce leaves, no dressing. The chips were

Can't comment on stay as we did not stay but we all had our eve meal there have to say was very poor standard wring orders served and had to wsit for our drinks till halfway through our meal have to say would never go back perhaps they were busy but no excuse for bad service and very poor quality of food.

Had a lovely lunch today in the Avoca, chef ozzie recommended the pizza which was amazing. My friend had the roast beef which was cooked to protection, definitely worth a visit. The staff were very friendly and nothing was a bother to them

Just stopped in for lunch. Some of the best pub grub I've had in a long time. Top quality and the kids loved it too.
