Hi everyone, With Queensland's border closed and community transmissions in hand, restrictions on dancing have lifted! So next week (7th Sept) we will be reigniting our boosters and relaunching Tuesday Balboa and Thursday Lindy classes. See you on the dance floor! We teach Lindy Hop, Balboa, Solo Jazz, and special classes from beginner to advanced levels in Brisbane.

We specialise in teaching the vintage swing dances of the 1920s, 30s and 40s. We believe in creating an environment where people can be themselves and connect with others around the shared love of swing music, culture and dance. We believe that people have the right to be able to fully participate and feel safe without judgement.
Weekend beginner classes

These classes are aimed at beginners looking to fast-track their learning or cement knowledge gained from weekly classes, dancers wishing to learn the other lead/follow role and those unable to attend regular weekly classes. These workshops will cover similar material in the three-hour session that would normally be covered in a four-week period.

A Recreational Structured Partner Dance for Corner Pocket Swing students - 3.5 hours of DJed swing music. No beginner class beforehand, just lots of dancing to some of the best swing dance music ever recorded. Get it while it's hot! A taster class and 3 hours of DJed swing music for Lindy Hop, Balboa, Shag, and solo jazz.
Pocket Dance

The Pocket Dance is our monthly opportunity to get together with other swing students to dance all those moves you've been learning. Dancing with all your new friends is what swing is all about! The Queensland Chief Health Officer's team together with Ausdance QLD, Arts Queensland, and representatives of the partner/social dance community have met to work out the safe return of dance events like our "Pocket Dance".
