Costs
Report
Many patients do not go to the dentist because of their concerns about the cost associated with treatment. At Neutral Bay Family Dental we care about our patients and understand this, so we do a number of things to help reduce your concerns regarding cost of care. We ensure that all costs are discussed beforehand so you do not have any nasty surprises or hidden costs.
Faq
Report
Tooth decay can be sneaky - it doesn't tend to show physical signs of its presence or pain early on. When your dentists perform an examination, they are limited to what they can see in your mouth - they can only see the part of the tooth that sits above the gum. Even then, dentists cannot see clearly between teeth where they touch.
Implants
Report
Success of implants depends on the health of the person receiving the treatment. There are medications which can affect the health of the tissues and bone inside the mouth. All of these issues are discussed as part of a routine examination. After careful assessment and planning. Implants can be surgically placed into the bone of your Jaw or skull providing there is enough healthy bone and surrounding tissue.
Root Canal
Report
In days gone by injured or diseased teeth had to be removed. These days we try to save the tooth with endodontic treatment, otherwise known as Root Canal Therapy. This procedure can be performed by a dentist or a specialist dentist called an Endodontist. For Root Canal Therapy more than one appointment is usually required.
