Centacare Family Services Geraldton was established in 1986 by the Bishop of Geraldton. Aware of the fundamental dignity of the person, Centacare acts as the official welfare arm of the Church in the Diocese of Geraldton by providing professional, pastoral and community care to families and individuals.

Do you provide a culturally appropriate service? Centacare aims to provide a respectful and culturally sensitive service and interpreters are available on request. Centacare is committed to ensuring that your information is protected and managed in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988, which sets out the standards for the way in which personal information must be handled.
Workshops & Courses

We deliver a range of courses and workshops to develop the capacity of family members to deal with a range of situations. Assists couples preparing for marriage to develop their knowledge, skills and understanding of themselves, each other and their relationship at significant points throughout the lifecycle.
Act With Kindness Not With Violence

The Act With Kindness, Not With Violence campaign is a Centacare Family Services initiative supported by funding from the Community Crime Prevention Fund, designed to challenge community attitudes that support violence against women and children. The campaign aims to inspire and mobilise the entire community to act against family violence.

Family violence is an issue that impacts the whole community, and so Centacare is inviting all the Midwest to be part of the Act with Kindness, Not with Violence campaign. By raising awareness of the impacts of family violence, and challenging attitudes that reinforce it, people can take a stand and work towards a community that priorities safety, equality and respect for all.
