Here at Little Rascal's we celebrate diversity of culture, inclusivity and sustainability. To achieve these outcomes we are embracing the Early Years Learning Framework to scaffold our philosophy and beliefs. It is within this framework that we intend to create opportunities for children to reach their potential to become confident, inquisitive and caring members of society.
We believe in our Educators along with the children's families will create an environment where the children feel valuable, capable and safe whilst being supported. An emphasis is placed on the development of interpersonal skills, self-regulation, understanding and valuing social justice and mutual respect.

Our Philosophy
Report
Adopting the Early Years Learning Framework as underpinned by values of diversity, inclusivity and sustainability, the Little Rascals team aims to create opportunities for children to reach their full potential, becoming confident, inquisitive and caring members of society. Our Educators help children to connect with their communities by being active citizens; engaged with people, activities and the environment around them.

Our Programs
Report
At Little Rascals, we recognise the importance of the parental role in a child's learning outcomes. To effectively attend to the needs of individual children (and the group as a whole), our programs are dynamic rather than static, drawing heavily on the importance of play in developing children's interpersonal skills.
Rockingham Beach
Report
We believe a child has the right to participate in a learning environment which promotes mutual respect, shared learning, reflectivity, creativity, imagination, problem solving and participation in the community. We believe that knowledge is constructed by learners in response to interaction with the environment and that meaning and understanding grows out of social encounters.
Health & Safety
Report
A child cannot be accepted into our care with any illness which may, in any way, be transferred to others. Regulations state that a doctor's clearance must be presented before a child can be re-admitted into the centre. Children and our staff with infectious disease will be excluded from the centre in accordance with the National Health and Medical Research Council guidelines.
