General Podiatry
Report
All feet are unique and require individualised treatments. A general podiatry treatment involves the assessment and treatment of skin and nail conditions. A callus is a flatter area of hard, dead skin cells - often found on the ball of the feet and the heels. When the pressure becomes too much on the callus, especially at the heels, painful cracks can form.
Orthotic Therapy
Report
The foot is a complex structure of bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, fascias, muscles, nerves and blood vessels. Biomechanics describes the study of the way that all of these work together (in the foot and lower limbs) to perform movement, like walking and running. Our bodies need to absorb shock with every step we take; and this is amplified when we run or jump.
Diabetes Care
Report
Approximately 3.6 million Australians have been diagnosed with diabetes or are on the borderline of being diagnosed. Without proper management, Diabetes can cause nerve and blood-flow changes in the feet and lower limbs, which can put your feet to high risk of damage. These complications are more likely to happen in those who have had diabetes for many years, poor control of blood glucose levels and those who smoke.

Children’s Feet
Report
Children's feet are very flexible as their bones, joints and muscles are still developing. As they get older and start to bear weight in their feet, children can encounter gait issues that can then affect the way they walk in later life. With the right treatment and education, parents can feel reassured that their little one is developing as they should be.
