Established in 1996 by an early childhood teacher who saw the need to provide an early childhood education programme for the children and families in the Deception Bay region. The curriculum that is implemented at Moreton Downs Early Education Centre is based on the age of the children. Moreton Downs Early Education is a long day care centre and Kindergarten that operates 51 weeks a year.
We are open Monday to Friday, 6am to 6 pm. We offer an individual program, based on the developmental needs of each child. We take into consideration all the aspects of the child's welfare and circumstances when tailoring a program to suit every child's individual needs. We pride ourselves on providing a safe environment that is an extention of our childrens home life.

Moreton Downs Early Education is the oldest established childcare centre and Kindergarten in Deception Bay run by the same family. The Centre was established in 1996 to provide an early childhood education program for the children and families in the Deception Bay region. We believe in learning through play with emphasis on encouraging children to explore their interests.

Our Kindergarten class is taught by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher who has implemented the Queensland kindergarten program based on the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidlines. Ths ensures all children are equiped to the best of there ability for the transition to prep year. Classes for Pre Kindy (3 to 4 years), Juniors (2 to 3 years), Toddlers (15 months to 3 years) and Babies (6 weeks to 2 years).

Moreton Downs Early Education is fortunate to have outstanding early childhood teachers and educators. With a very low staff turn over we are able to offer children and famlies the stability required to ensure children develop in a safe and secure environment to the best of their ability.
We have a qualified early childhood teacher on staff and together with our Diploma qualified group leaders and qualified assistants we are able to offer professional and experienced leadership in all rooms.

The curriculum that is implemented at Moreton Downs Early Education Centre is based on the age of the children in the group and their cognitive and social development. We respect all children as individuals and ensure that programs that we use are tailored to each child's individual needs. We follow The Early Years Learning Framework for Australia reflecting the characteristics Belonging, Being and Becoming.
