Chiropractic
Report
Chiropractic is a natural form of health care that focuses on the relationship between the spine and the nervous system and how that relationship affects our health. Using spinal adjustments and other manual and soft tissue techniques, chiropractic corrects misalignments of the joints, improves muscle tone and stimulates nerve activity.
Physiotherapy
Report
Physiotherapy is an essential part of recovery for all types of injury and chronic conditions. Whether you are suffering from osteoarthritis or a sprained ankle, physiotherapy will empower you to maximize the rehabilitation process so you can get back to doing the things you love. As physiotherapists, we listen to your needs and tailor treatment plans specific to your condition.
Massage
Report
Remedial massage is the systematic assessment and treatment of the muscles, tendons, ligaments and connective tissues of the body to assist in rehabilitation, pain and injury management. Having studied Myotherapy at RMIT University, Jodie regularly uses muscle testing, cupping, dry needling and rock-taping in her treatments, and also practises manual lymphatic drainage, reiki, abdominal massage and esoteric acupuncture.
Bowen Therapy
Report
Bowen Therapy is a gentle, hands on technique that works to reset your body's own healing ability. Bowen creates balance, increasing blood flow and releasing tension in the muscles to allow your body to function optimally by removing toxin build up, allowing nutrients in to the structures to heal them and calming the nervous system to reduce stress.
Pilates
Report
Pilates was developed during WWI by its namesake, Joseph Pilates. He observed the use of beds and springs to treat bed-bound wounded soldiers. His simple Reformer Bed and Trapeze Table equipment designs reflect this origin. Modern Pilates exercises can increase strength, mobility, flexibility, balance, control, and proprioception (knowing where your body is in space).
