We understand that coming to the dentist for a procedure can be a stressful time for patients. MAS is an Australian owned company that provides a General Anaesthesia service to Dental Clinics, which provides a way to truly experience complete pain and fear-free dental treatment, in a safe environment.
With advances in modern medicine, MAS safely performs a wide range of procedures in a dentist clinic under general anaesthesia. Whilst this has become a common practice in the USA, Australia has only began to embrace the benefits of this practice. MAS is a safety first, patient focused, practitioner enabling organisation providing general anaesthesia excellence in a dental setting.

MAS provides all necessary equipment, medications, documentation required for a general anaesthetic. Our mobile anaesthesia setup can convert any room in your clinic into an operating room within 30-60 minutes of our arrival. All equipment can be removed following procedure completion, thereby returning the room to its original use and configuration.

During General anaesthesia you are placed into a drug-induced state where you will not respond to any stimuli, including pain. As all General Anaesthesia procedures are carried out only by fully qualified consultant anaesthetists, a significant portion of the fee is claimable under Medicare! It can be carried out safely for a long duration (allowing the dentist to perform multiple procedures in one session).

Traditionally, even if a procedure is minor, patients are admitted to a hospital or day surgery centre for surgical procedures under general anaesthesia. With advances in modern medicine, it is now possible to safely perform a wider range of procedures in a dental clinic under general anaesthesia. While this has become a common practice in the USA, through MAS, Australia has only began to embrace the benefits of this practice.
