Awesome Dancer is a recreational dance school where we believe dance lessons should be all about building confidence in our students while keeping things simple. We alleviate the need to attend multiple classes a week by offering combination style classes in which your child will discover a love of dance while developing solid dancing foundations.
Students can expect to be encouraged and respected by their teachers and fellow classmates as they discover styles including jazz, hip hop and ballet techniques. Our purpose built studio in Thornbury is located in Melbourne's North East and is easily accessible to the Fairfield, Northcote, Alphington, Ivanhoe and Preston areas.

Too often I heard stories of 4 hours concerts, $400 costumes bills, inappropriate costumes and only 2 minutes performance time at the end of the year. There had to be another way! Over the last 2 decades we have solved this very problem for thousands of families in the Fairfield and Northcote areas and continue to do so today.

Primary Youngsters 8-11yrs

Why not get our enthusiastic teachers to turn this hobby into a lifelong skill that will translate into other areas of their life? Building confidence, self esteem and team skills through our energetic, creative 1 hour class.
Secondary – Tweens 11 – 14yrs

Does your tween LOVE music and have an interest in dance but is not confident enough to join the 'stereotypical' dance class. Then our 1.5 hour tweens class will make them feel a part of a community where they are surrounded by other like minded students.

Secondary – Teens 14-18yrs
