Services
Our Team
Report
Dr Timothy Mahony graduated from the University of Sydney in 1981 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Tim has been practicing dentistry at Bankstown since 1983. Tim is a member of the Australian Dental Association. Tim offers all the general treatment that you would expect but his passion is to help you maintain and improve.
Fillings
Report
Dental Fillings are commonly used to restore your teeth, treat tooth decay and improve their appearance. Visiting your dentist regularly can usually reduce the need for teeth fillings, but if you're suffering from painful tooth decay or damage to a tooth, our dentists can fill the damaged area of your tooth and restore it to perfectly normal function.
Crowns and Bridges
Report
Crowns are most commonly used to make a damaged tooth stronger, and are bonded with extra strong dental cement, similar to fillings. Crowns can be also fitted on top of dental implants. A crown treatment usually requires two appointments. The first appointment will entail the tooth being drilled and shaped to form a base where the crown can eventually sit.
Oral Hygiene
Report
Here at Chapel Road Dental Surgery Bankstown, we recommend to have your teeth cleaned at least twice per year. If you have a history of gum disease, cleaning your teeth frequently will prevent re-occurence. Our highly qualified hygienists will use a variety of tools to help deep clean your gums and the surface of your teeth.
Dentures
Report
Dentures can replace your missing teeth. You may need dentures if you have lost your natural teeth from gum disease, tooth decay or injuries. Usually, complete dentures are for people who have lost most or all of their teeth. A partial denture is suitable for those who have some natural teeth remaining.
