LoJo Photography was established in 2011 by Jill Dolby, an award-winning photographer with a Diploma of Photography and certifications in wedding and portraiture. Recognised as one of Canberra's top 10 newborn photographers, we specialise in maternity, newborn, and family portraiture, operating from our home studio in Amaroo. Our process includes a pre-session questionnaire to tailor experiences, relaxed in-home sessions, and an in-person gallery reveal for selecting prints.We prioritise baby safety, maintain immunisation and insurance, and hold memberships with the International Newborn Photography Association. Our services include framed art, digital packages, and custom portrait boxes, with a focus on creating timeless memories for families.

What age range do you photograph for newborn sessions?
We specialise in 0-3 month newborn photography, with safety-certified posing techniques for babies under 12 weeks old.
How long does a typical family portrait session last?
Family sessions usually take 60 minutes, allowing time for natural interactions and multiple outfit changes if required.
Do you offer outdoor photography options?
Yes, we provide both in-home studio and outdoor location options for maternity and family portraits.
What safety measures are used during newborn photography?
All sessions follow current baby safety guidelines, with no precarious posing. We use spotters and digital editing for composite images when needed.
How soon after a session do we receive photos?
Gallery reveals occur 2-3 weeks post-session, with final prints delivered within 4-6 weeks of selection.
Can we purchase digital files only?
Yes, digital packages start at $600 for 10 edited images on USB, with print release included.

Jill is an amazing Photographer! We had our first daughters photos taken 2 years ago and now we’ve just had our twins done.
