I have been truly blessed to have made my living as a photographer specialising in babies, kids and families for nearly 20 years. All kidding aside, I wouldn't have it any other way. I know it's a clich, but I love what I do. I honed my skills working for a major portrait studio before being offered a chance to run my own, which I did for many happy years at Alderley.
Session Information

The best times of day (and normally the only time I shoot) are mornings until about lunch time. With older babies and toddlers it's really important to time the session around them for the best results. Once you've booked your session, I will email you with more detailed information on what to wear and bring.
Maternity

I have a great range of maternity gowns and lovely bits and pieces we can use for the shoot. I will also send you a list of suggested items to bring. With my maternity sessions, i do as many outfits, set ups and poses as we can in the time allowed. 45 minute session including 5 high resolution image files in colour, plus B&W & vintage versions (15 photos) via direct download so you can so you may reprint & enlarge to your heart's desire.
Newborn
Report
The ideal age for a newborn session is between 5-9 days while they are still nice and sleepy. It's best to contact me during your pregnancy to book your due date in. I book a tentative appointment based on your due date and get you to contact me within a day or two of baby's arrival to finalise your booking.
Family
Report
I allow one hour for older babies and children. We need to work quickly as most get over it after about 30 or so minutes, but i will do as many set ups as we can before we get to the "Take me back to my trailer!" stage. I like to keep it quite simple. Classic clothes work best. You want to like the photo in 30 years!
