Founded in 2015 by tax expert James Howlin, Cake Accounting was established to provide growing businesses the advice that high net wealth individuals receive from their city-based advisore.
About Cake

The history of cake dates back to ancient times, with the word cake having derived from 'kaka' an Old Norse word, although those cakes were more bread-like and sweetened with honey. Since then, due to advances in baking technology, as well as ingredient quality and availability (refined sugar, refined white flour and baking powder), cakes have become the sweet dessert we know and enjoy today.

James Howlin is a Chartered Accountant, tax specialist, business advisor and company director with over seven years experience in Public Practice and is approaching two decades of working in and providing advice to small and medium businesses. A tax specialist, James joined a leading tax discussion group on his first day in the accounting profession and the knowledge and relationships from this group continue to add value to his clients today.
