We like to think of The Bells as 'A Country Pub in the City, ' a great place to pull up a chair, enjoy a relaxing drink with a view and the traditional hospitality of a family run pub.
The Bells first opened it's doors in Woolloomooloo in 1922, making the hotel 97 on our next birthday, and we're still going strong! In fact, there has been a pub on this exact location dating back to the original ale house 'Punches' in 1868, when east Sydney was dominated by vibrant working wharves and the Garden Island naval base.

The Bells function room is free to hire and ideal for all kinds of social and work occasions. Situated at the rear of the main bar, the function area contains a mix of table sizes and seating, allowing for different kinds of layout for your event. The function room has a retractable roof, providing plenty of fresh air and able to create a space of your own for any occasion.
