We are a locally owned and operated veterinary clinic and hospital located in the Shepparton CBD, providing veterinary services to pets and farm animals in the Goulburn Valley region. GV Vets is a new, locally owned and operated, veterinary clinic at 169 Nixon Street in Shepparton. We offer a full range of veterinary services to both family pets and farm animals in the surrounding regions, including home and farm visits.

We also have a variety of pet merchandise and pet food available. Our friendly staff look forward to welcoming you into our brand new home which combines a relaxed, comforting atmosphere with state-of-the-art veterinary equipment to provide the highest level of care for your pets. As you walk through the front door, you will step into our bright, modern reception and waiting area.

Thank-you so much for your wonderful care of Banter over the past 3 days. All the staff were fabulous at communicating how she was going. It is very difficult to do this well at the moment due to the restrictions, but everyone at GV vets excelled. The pictures provided by Dr Eddie on Saturday evening were especially reassuring. Thanks to Keren, Jasmine, Deb, Tamika, Eddie and everyone involved. We are grateful to have Banter home so improved.

They are very helpful even when i don't have an appointment and i call up with questions about my fur baby. And when i take him in for check ups they are so gentle with him... i think im more nervous than him.
Great team at GV Vets, highly recommend them 😻

Impressed with my first experience visiting this vet. Had a very sick cat and was told to bring her immediately. Found the staff to be caring and knowledgeable. Prices were also reasonable. My cat is now much better and I owe it all to them!

After our fur kids had a little bit of a tiff and one of them walked away with some battle scars we are so glad we contacted GV Vets.
Frances very kindly came in after hours to help our dog and we couldn't be happier! Frances was so kind, caring and a great laugh! After moving back to Shepparton after living in Melbourne for 5 years, we were a little worried about going somewhere new. But we're so glad to have found our new local! Thank you Frances! You're amazing!

My first experience of this vet clinic was when I had to get our 18yo cat put to sleep...the staff were absolutely wonderful, and so understanding and compassionate. I was very surprised when I lovely card and paw print of our family cat arrived a few weeks later in the mail. A lovely gesture which wasn’t expected. Not my usual vets but will be changing over to this clinic moving forward with my other animals.

I have to say the best experience we have had with any vet.We didn't have an appointment bur Frances took such good care of our little Rhylee couldn't have asked for anything more she was brilliant. Thankyou gv vets definitely won't be going anywhere else.
