The Child Dental Benefits Schedule is a new child dental benefits programme that gives eligible children access to up to $1000 in benefits per child for dental services over two consecutive calendar years. Children aged between two and 17 will be eligible for Medicare funded dental care.
If your family receives Family Tax Benefit Part A, each of your children will be eligible for up to $1000 worth of Medicare funded dental treatment over a two year period.If your child doesn't use the full $1000 of dental benefits in the first year, they can use the balance in the second year if they are still eligible.
