Unlike most 'fast and instant sign shops', we make mostly everything ourselves. That's the only way we've found to get the quality we want whilst keeping the cost down for our customers. Yes, we are also traditional signwriters, we've hand painted thousands of signs, but in this day and age it is more viable to use the technology available.

We prefer a CMYK EPS with fonts converted to outlines and 10-20mm bleed allowance (proportional to finished size). PDFs are fine, but for large format printing they can have problems with Pantone and transparency. Generally speaking, a closely viewed sign needs to be around 100-120dpi@final size, a billboard can drop to 25-50dpi.

So that our customers know exactly what their finished signs will look like and there are no lingering doubts, we supply detailed artwork. Assumption College in Warwick were looking for new Assembly lectern signage, so they contacted Signkiosk.com. Our designer went to work and submitted the layout on the right that brought all of these components into a unified design.
