My 6 month stay at Carnarvon Lodge was pleasant and comfortable. Great location (close to the Harbour Bridge) with quiet and peaceful surroundings. The interior is beautifully refurbished, and customer service is excellent. Manager Tina is lovely and professional. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

It's a good, affordable place close to harbour bridge, luna park. Last time I stayed there, the place had renovation going on which was in 2019. Can't wait to go back and check out the new look. Staff is really nice the management cares about customers. There's parking on street if you're driving. if not there's train station close by, few minutes from Wharf which, you can take ferry straight to Opera house and darling harbour.

Stayed for 2 weeks in June 2020. Newly refurbished and very clean. Comfy bed, ample room storage, huge fridge, small but useful desk. Free Wifi was reliable enough. Communal space was clean, kitchen well equipped. Good location, 7 min walk to Milsons Point station. Parking is a lottery - heaps of 2 hour spots, but only a handful of all day on street parking (that's standard for Kirribilli). Shower was hot and powerful. Overall excellent value - not 5 stars because thin walls mean you will hear next door visitors if they're loud.

My partner and I had a most enjoyable stay in a double room with en suite and the Manager was most helpful when we had any requirements. The proximity to train, bus and ferry services was fantastic and being such a quite location so close to the city was terrific. We also had friends stay in a double room with shared facilities which were always clean and serviced and most acceptable.
Well done to the management,we shall be back and recommend your place to other friends and business colleagues.

Great budget accommodation in North Sydney. Only a 5 min walk from Milsons Point station. Place is undergoing renovations. Room was quite large and very clean. Bed was comfortable. Supplied towels and toiletries and coffee/tea. Would definately stay again in The future. Probably after renos are completed. Manager was polite and friendly. Bathroom needs renovations but overall was a good experience.

Arrived at 7pm office was empty but key was waiting in an envelope as was told by owners when contacted, which was a nice touch We got quoted 99.00, we were charged $101.35 and then slugged with a $3.04 foreign visa fee and we live in the same country and State, we didn't have a kettle in the room yet we had tea bags and a cups, also no top sheet… and just a doona and only one pillow each. No screens on the window and the downstairs a/c was vibrating the entire night.on the upside it was clean but not my favourite place I can say left at 8.30 am to go somewhere for a coffee. No one available

My double en suite was clean, bright and cosy, with a queen sized bed, bar fridge and wall-mounted tv. The bathroom was a little narrow, but private, and the hot water held up well. The room doors lock automatically as they shut, which reassured me greatly as I was travelling alone.
Excellent price and service, especially considering the location- incredible convenient proximity to train station, local cafes, the bridge, the park, etc. (If you like baked goods, the san antonio sourdough bakery makes incredible cronuts)
The manager did a great deal to make me feel welcome and safe while I was

I recently stayed here and found it a not unpleasant experience. Some of the previous reviews were full of horror stories with regard to cleanliness and cockroaches everywhere. I stayed for 3 nights and didn't see one cockroach, my room was clean and quite comfortable, although I would recommend wearing a pair of thongs whilst having a shower though , the hot water was fine and the towels provided were nice. The manager also was nice and helpful. This is not the Hilton and people should not expect it to be. The location is great for getting around Sydney, and I would stay there again

I stayed here for a week upon my first arrival in Sydney. I stayed in a double bed room since I wanted a private toilet. The room was okay and acceptable. The guests were friendly and helpful, and the owner was very nice as well. However, I am quite confused with this place being a hotel as from what I have experience, it should be something similar to a rent house.
Overall, I am happy with my stay at the place since it was quite close to the train station and other stores.
