Our award-winning bistro serves contemporary Australian cuisine with a focus on local produce. Open daily for lunch and dinner, we offer extensive menus featuring modern interpretations of classic dishes. The kitchen operates from 11:30am-8:30pm Sunday-Thursday and 11:30am-9:30pm Friday-Saturday, with a separate kids' menu and weekly specials.
Function Venue
We provide comprehensive event solutions across 5 dedicated function spaces accommodating 20-550 guests. Our venue includes state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, customisable layouts, and full catering services. Special packages are available for weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations with dedicated event coordinators managing every detail.
Bar
The main bar offers an extensive drinks menu featuring craft beers, premium spirits, and specialty cocktails. Two pool tables are available daily at $2 per game, with extended hours until 1am on Friday and Saturday nights. Regular promotions include weekly beer specials and themed cocktail menus.

Our heritage-listed hotel combines traditional charm with modern comforts across 48 well-appointed rooms. Table service at the hotel was great. I’m not used to the level of service provided because it’s rare at a regional hotel. Very enjoyable and the atmosphere was terrific.

Staff worked under extreme pressure due to being short staffed, they attempted to please, even if the role was not normally something they were familiar with. Meal was tasty and came relatively quickly. Can recommend the barramundi and Asian vegetables. Staff kept their humour throughout the evening. Well done and thank you for turning up to work when you know it's going to be tough and customers are going to be demanding. Please consider the efforts that Staff go to before you complain or review. Covid is trying on everyone.

Always a reasonable pub meal at the GV. Clean and spacious environment and tasty food. Seniors and kids meals also available.

Food was okay for price, nothing to rave about. Flathead in seafood basket wasnt flathead. No bar staff wearing masks, only staff wearing masks were chef/cooks. Wait staff had under their chins, chewing and popping gum while serving you. Out of alcohol for advertised specials. Stopping people on the way out have you paid???. Just not a good experience.

Not to bad of a place staff that were on were grumpy .the only place I've ever been to that has so many stupid rules. You can't even use your ph here your ask to go out side .ill never ever return here .as for the food area my parmie was burnt on one side NO flavour & the only flavour it did have was burnt taste. Defiantly not I was return to or eat at again .very disappointed.

Meal and food were terrible, very overpriced and staff were slow and rude. Do yourself a favour and get Mustafas or go to the Aussie or another hotel in town, I will never go back.
