In 2018 Akura joined forces with Wallandra; a brand synonymous with structural steel and precast panel manufacture, supply and installation. With 40 years' experience in the construction industry operating as Wallandra, the Wallace family made the move to create Akura in 2014 as an off-shoot to Wallandra; done so in order to return to Wallandra's origins as a turnkey design and construct provider.
With Akura having grown exponentially in its first few years of operation, the Wallace family decided to merge the two companies in 2018 and continue operation under the Akura name. Our ability to deliver customised building solutions are underpinned by our in-house structural steel and precast concrete panel manufacturing capabilities; allowing for maximised efficiency providing cost and time savings for our clients.
