I started work in Latrobe valley in 1982 as an apprentice motor mechanic and working my way up, After finishing my apprenticeship, I did my senior mechanics certificate, and then went on to do my A Grade certificate.

Had my car in for a smoke test, the mechanic whom carried out the work failed to install the battery box cover. Not only did I have to call them to find out they still had it at the shop over a week later and had not contacted me, but they had also could not return the second piece of the cover. Mechanic stated he only removed the lid, assuming this is correct the other piece which clips in behind the lid must of been lost while driving. Very poor service please avoid this shop if you have any care for your vehicle.

Ive been going to JCP for many years now, possibly 7 years or more. The team at JCP are very knowledgeable, and happy to look deeper into an issue.
One thing I like the most as a curious person, they are happy to talk about things and how it all works.
I've never been able to fault any work they have done on any of my vehicles. Always polite, and professional. They have helped me out plenty of times.
My entire family see them for any mechanical issues, they are truely a look no further mechanic. Funny enough, even though I moved 2 hours away from JCP, any major work with cars still goes to them

A typical regassing would cost $170. My air conditioner needed a new compressor ($1,000) which was out of my budget..no ones fault. But he was going to charge me $150 for 1/2 hours work to which I objected so he said $90 to which I objected again so I was charged $50 which I thought was fair enough for his 1/2 hour work. I found this very unprofessional and def wouldnt recommend this company.

I purchased my Territory from a car yard in June of this year and was badly needing some tlc. I took it to Jims (JCP Auto) and he went over it with a safety check and gave a fair price on services my car needed. Since then my car has never run better and like a family doctor will be returning to Jims (JCP auto) for further care..cheers Tony

We've broken in the middle of a long road trip near of Morwell and went to JCP Automotive. The car piece was hard to find and Jim made an extra effort to find it and fix it on time. Easter holiday was near and we need to be back on road and Jim made everything was possible to help us asap working until late. The piece took a long a time to arrive, but Jim could change it very fast when arrived. We are really grateful for your good service and caring with us.
