Had an amazing stay here! The apartment was comfortable (great ceiling fabs and aircon) nicely decorated, super clean and the location is superb - walking distance to everything and has plenty of free parking if you have a car.
The pool is beautiful and not busy so you can enjoy a relaxing swim.
Our host Bec was absolutely amazing! Such a warm welcome and gave us plenty of good suggestions for places to visit - she even booked a snorkeling trip for us on arrival as she knew most tours would be fully booked.
I would definitely recommend staying here!!

It's a budget place, so good value for a place to sleep, but you wouldn't want to hang around otherwise. The location is ideal. Walk to everything: Beach, Marina, all food. Jakob (the only staff member I saw) were friendly, and the facilities good. There's a full kitchen in room, and a shared laundry which you only pay for laundry detergent.
However, the fit out is very dated and cleanliness left something to be desired (as other reviews noted, there was a bit of mould, but not as bad as some of the other reviews made it out. I suspect in Port Douglas, pretty much anywhere has some mould). Also

Mildew & mould everywhere. Had to sleep with balcony door open & fans going so I didn’t have to smell the mildew & when I addressed it with manager he was as rude as rude can be & wouldn’t change my room! Bins hadn’t been emptied, even tho the policy is to remove your rubbish before u leave so clearly the rooms are not looked in & aired regularly, or mould cleaned properly. 100MB internet per day & have to log into a new ID & password everyday. Couch uncomfortable to chill out on after long days of walking etc. Will never stay there again!

Great central location close to beach and shops but our room at the back of the property was so dark we needed to have the lights on during the day and we were horrified on our first morning to be woken up by a guy with a leaf blower on our patio. Also the ‘free’ internet was 100Mb for one device per day. Good for about half an hour.

Stayed Easter 2017. Great location. Good sized room. Helpful and polite management. Advice for future guests. Rooms are "self catering" Linen gets changed every 7 days. Towels ( 1 per person) gets changed every 4 days. Housekeeping every 7 days. If you would like your room cleaned or extra towels then there is a costly price for that. If you run out of tea, coffee, toilet paper you must buy your own. Wifi is not included in your nightly rate. If you wish to use the in-room safe there's a charge for this as well.
