We specialise in these young patients and those with special needs to achieve optimum oral health. How do we do this? Services
Report
The Paediatric Dental Practice offer a range of dental treatments and services for children aged between 0 - 18 years of age. The initial comprehensive examination involves a complete assessment of relevant medical and dietary history, along with any history of dental trauma. This assessment may include radiographs (x-rays) and intraoral photo records.
Check up and clean
Report
We encourage excellent dental hygiene for kids through regular dental check-ups and cleans. We also work closely with our patients and their families to set up effective and fun dental care routines at home, with great advice about products, techniques and maintenance schedules. For parents of little first-time dental patients, there can be many whys and hows.
Extractions
Report
At The Paediatric Dental Practice, we take a conservative approach to extracting teeth in children. An extensively decayed tooth can sometimes be beyond repair with a filling or other dental restorations. This has to be kept in mind when deciding whether to place a filling or to extract the tooth. If there's not enough tooth remaining, a long-term quality filling is not possible and the tooth usually ends up requiring multiple repairs over time.
