Completed his mechanical trade apprenticeship with Mercedes Benz and Subaru in Sydney. Left after 7 years to manage the local service station and after 8 years of good service moved to the Gold Coast. Shannon started working at TRS Auto Repairs shortly after and was glad to find a business that had the same good work ethic and procedures as he believes in.
He was happily employed by TRS for 10 years as Workshop Manager and Head Mechanic until he and his wife were offered to purchase the business from the previous owner. These are the most common problems we experience in servicing brake and clutch problems on motor vehicles. The most common one we are seeing is since asbestos has been removed from the brake linings (for health reasons) the manufacturers are experimenting with the composition of the brake linings. This in turn is hard to come up with a composition which is as good as asbestos.

We are an approved inspection station for cars or light commercial vehicles up to and including 4.5 tonne RGVM and for caravans and trailers over 0.75 tonne ATM up to and including 3.5 tonne ATM. You must display a safety certificate on a registered car or light vehicle from the moment you offer it for sale or risk a fine of over $560.
