Wingham and Valley Vets is based in Wingham in the beautiful Manning Valley of NSW. The hospital is approximately twelve kilometres west of Taree. We have been providing quality veterinary medicine and surgery for all species of animals in Wingham and its outlying districts since for over 20 years.

Every pet is loved and important and so we pride ourselves on our best practice approach to general anaesthesia and surgery to minimise any risk to your pet, and to ensure that their surgical procedure is as stress-free and safe as possible.

As well as offering Puppy Preschool and Canine Good Citizen Classes, Wingham and Valley Vets offers individual training sessions to help develop a deeper understanding between you and your dog. These lessons, which can be scheduled at a time that suits you, cover whatever is most important to you at the time, and generally last for an hour.

Orthopaedic surgery involves repairing the bones and joints of dogs and cats so they can regain pain-free, normal function. At Wingham & Valley Vets we perform many different orthopaedic surgeries, ranging from simple to very complex. Generally, your pet will be admitted to hospital on the morning of their procedure after a period of fasting the night before.

At Wingham & Valley Vets we are highly experienced and can offer expert advice to registered breeders on canine reproduction. When exact timing is paramount (eg using frozen semen), the use of ultrasound in combination with progesterone and vaginoscopy, is the gold standard.

We are happy to offer this service to our valued breeding clients at Wingham and Valley Vets and have state-of-the-art equipment that ensures accuracy and maximises conception rates.Accurate and rapid progesterone testing is extremely valuable to breeders as it allows them to determine their bitch's progesterone levels (and hence when they are likely to ovulate) within 10 minutes of blood collection.
