Preventive Dentistry has been serving Canberra since 1963, when it was established by Dr Noel Egan whose preventive approach to dental care was ahead of its time. He was the first dentist in the ACT to employ a dental hygienist, and was instrumental in the recognition and registration of Dental Hygiene as a profession.

Many dental problems that necessitate serious treatment are largely preventable if caught soon enough, and the best way to avoid the discomfort and cost of more extensive procedures is by treating problems early or preventing them entirely. That's why regular examination and hygiene treatments are integral aspects of Preventive Dentistry, and we recommend most people attend these preventive appointments 6 monthly.

Preventive Dentistry is situated on Level 1 of the Habitat building at the corner of Mort and Elouera Streets in Braddon, Canberra. Entrance to the building is on the Elouera Street side, between Bentspoke and Blackfire restaurant. Ample car parking is available across the road in the pay parking bays on Mort Street.
